The first joint training with the Kanagawa Prefectural Police was conducted to enhance the cooperation between the police and PACIFICO Yokohama.
PACIFICO Yokohama and the Kanagawa Prefectural Police conducted a counter-terrorism joint training at the South Exit Square (outdoor) of Rinko Park and the National Convention Hall of Yokohama, based on the assumption that terrorists are using guns and explosives in an attack on a large-scale commercial facility.
The first part of the training was conducted at the South Exit Square (outdoor), focusing on chasing and subduing the terrorists. The second part took place at thre National Convention Hall of Yokohama to learn how to spot terrorists, simulate the evacuation guidance for visitors, and catch the terrorists and dispose explosives.
