On behalf of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) I was delighted to participate in the 16th WFOT World Congress in Yokohama, Japan in June 2014.
I would urge any organization considering holding a congress in Japan to investigate the wonderful opportunities in Yokohama. Not only are the convention facilities world class, the city itself is a delightful place to visit with its many restaurants and cafes, great shopping, friendly people and a comfortable pace of life. There is an extensive range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets and easy access to all of the popular areas. Yokohama certainly provided WFOT with a wonderful congress venue and a truly exciting cultural experience.
