PACIFICO Yokohama has implemented the following measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Event organizers are advised to take thorough measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, ensuring the safety and health of visitors and relevant parties at events.
PACIFICO Yokohama has taken the following steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19
1. Venue disinfection
To ensure the safety of customers, we have alcohol hand sanitizers at the entrance to each facility. We also disinfect high-touch areas after the use of each day.
[Areas where alcohol sanitizer is available]
- Entrance to each facility
- Every toilet room for seat disinfection
[Main areas to disinfect]
- Microphones, podium, podium for MC etc.
- Door knobs/door handles, handrails, etc.
2. Ventilation in venue
Air conditioning and ventilation systems are constantly working to bring in fresh air.
3. Preventing closed space and splashes
To avoid situations where many people gather in a poorly-ventilated crowded closed space, the smoking areas in the venue are closed for the time being. To prevent splashes, hand dryers in restrooms are also unavailable for now.
4. Face masks for staff
Our staff may wear face masks to ensure the safety of customers.
5. Discussion with event organizers, relevant parties
Prior to an event, we have a briefing with an organizer and relevant parties to ensure a safe environment for customers.
We offer equipment to prevent the spread (partitions for splash protection, etc.) and recommend socially-distanced venue layout.
Request to Our Customers
For those who plan to visit us, please note the measures against infectious diseases announced by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare (including hand washing, proper use of masks, and cough etiquette). If you are not feeling well, please stay home and rest.
In addition, hand driers in the washrooms at our facilities are currently out of operation, so please be sure to bring a handkerchief, etc.
7.Handling of Customers with Suspected Covid-19 Infection
We aim to prevent the spread of infection, and provide a safe and secure environment for our customers, in accordance with the objectives of the government's “Basic Policies for Novel Coronavirus Disease.” Therefore, we may refuse admission to anyone with a fever, severe fatigue (malaise), or difficulty breathing (shortness of breath). We appreciate your understanding.
