At PACIFICO Yokohama, the renovation works being carried out since the end of November 2020 in the Conference Center were completed on March 14th. Some work on the building exterior will however continue until May 31st, 2021.
We have carried out these renovation works with the purpose of achieving safe and secure facilities incorporating key aspects of SDGs, including energy-saving and barrier-free features. Going forward, we will continue our efforts to provide a comfortable and ideal MICE environment for the benefit of all our clients.

Main features of the renovation works
（1）Renovation of 1F Main Hall
・Upgraded seating upholstery and carpeting
・Converted lighting in upper-section seating to (energy-saving) LED
・Added voice guidance functions (Japanese/English) to elevators
・Installed new multi-purpose toilets with (multi-lingual) voice guidance functions in
the 1F Foyer
（3）Earthquake-resistant measures for ceilings
・Measures taken to prevent ceiling collapse in the 1F Main Hall, 3F rooms 301~304, and 5F rooms 501 and 502
・Upgraded the permanent screens in 3F rooms 301~304 and 5F rooms 501 and 502
・Upgraded air conditioning and electrical equipment
